CELEBRATE PEACE, EXPERIENCE PEACE

Experience the healing and therapeutic power of drumming

Join BuildaBridge and a world-class cadre of drummers and to awake the body. For two hours, you'll learn and experience the power of drumming. Expect to join as individual and leave as a valued member of a drumming community (and much more).

The session will be facilitated by:

  • Robert Kenyatta, a Grammy-award winner and John Coltrane collaborator
  • Bobby Conga, a percussionist for Grover Washington, Jr.
  • Omomola Iyabunmi, one of the regions finest shekere instructors.
  • Sam Zolten, sought-after and accomplished collaborator
  • Tony Flagiello, a BuildaBridge teaching artist and seasoned musicians.

as well as BuildaBridge teaching artists. Feel free to bring your own drum or borrow one from BuildaBridge. There's no obligation to play either. Come to play. Come to enjoy. Come as you are. A light food and beverage offering will be provided.
